  • User Content: Recipes you create, chat messages you send to Yummi AI, and your meal plans are stored to provide the service.
  • Device Information: We may collect basic device details (model, OS version) for troubleshooting and optimization.

2. Artificial Intelligence & Data Processing

Transparency Notice:

Yummi uses **Google Gemini**, a third-party Artificial Intelligence service, to power features like "Recipe Remix," "Yummi AI Chat," and recipe extraction.

When you use these AI features, the specific text or images you provide (e.g., a recipe to remix, a question for the chat) are sent to Google for processing.We do not allow Google to use your personal data to train their AI models. Your data is used solely to generate the response you requested.

3. Third-Party Services

We work with trusted third-party providers to operate the App:

  • Google Gemini: For AI-powered content generation.
  • Telegram: For customer support and error logging. Your support messages are securely forwarded to our team via Telegram.
  • Apple iCloud: If enabled, your data may be stored and synced via your personal iCloud account, governed by Apple's privacy policy.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information but cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Your Rights & Data Deletion

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Since Yummi primarily stores data locally or in your private iCloud container (if enabled), you can delete most data directly within the App by removing recipes or clearing chat history.

6. Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately.
